THE LUCEO BOARD
The Board of Directors is comprised of the five senior executives of the ultimate parent company, Lighthouse Group plc. They meet on a regular basis, at least quarterly, to review reports from, and matters to be considered by, the Luceo Asset Investment Committee, which reports direct to Lighthouse Group plc. Information on each member can be found below.
Malcolm Streatfield was appointed Chief Executive of Lighthouse Group plc in January 2003. He has been involved in financial services since 1976 and was elected to the council of APFA (Association of Professional Financial Advisers) in June 2002. In June 2008, Malcolm was appointed to the Customer Impact Panel of the ABI (Association of British Insurers) and from February 2009 to February 2015 was a member of the Financial Services Practitioner Panel. He joined Lighthouse in April 2002, following the acquisition of BWA Group where he was Chief Executive.
Peter is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and was a corporate finance and assurance partner with KPMG. He has considerable experience of the UK financial services sector, both from an assurance and corporate advisory capacity and more latterly as an executive director. Peter’s responsibilities include Finance, Treasury, Legal and Company Secretarial matters, as well as strategic initiatives.
Lee was appointed as Managing Director of Lighthouse Financial Advice Limited in April 2017 and is a member of the Group’s senior executive management team. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Lighthouse Group Marketing & Communications Director. Lee was previously Managing Director of LighthouseGP Limited, which was formed after the acquisition of certain of the assets of Godfrey Pearson Limited by Lighthouse Group in January 2009. Lee formed Godfrey Pearson in August 1995 and was Managing Director of that organisation and he has over 25 years’ experience in financial services.
Mike has 40 years experience in the Financial Services marketplace. During that time, he has been involved in all aspects of the Industry from Product Provider to Distribution, Consulting to Technology, overseeing the delivery and implementation of Market reforms, such as regulation, legislation, business change and technological innovation. Mike has served on the UK Boards of Distribution and Insurance Companies. Mike is the Group Operations Director for Lighthouse Group plc, overseeing the Group’s operational and technological activity.
Ken was appointed to the Board as Group Compliance and Risk Director on 12 February 2014. He has more than 20 years’ experience in senior compliance, risk and regulatory roles within the UK financials services sector, encompassing regulatory bodies, life companies and advisory businesses. Ken joined Lighthouse in August 2012 as Group Compliance Director for the Group’s regulated businesses and has contributed fully as part of the management team since that date.
